Formation Des Baristas

Formation gratuite de La SCA pour les Barista de Bujumbura
3 demie journées de formation, SCA Compétences du Barista, dans 3 locations différentes de Bujumbura.

Organisé par L’Association Des Baristas du Burundi et Karibu Kahawa Camps.
Les lieux des formations seront confirmé plus tard.
10 personnes maximum par session.

Cette formation sera gratuite, cependant les places seront limités.
Les participants qui auront participé activement aux trois demie journées de formation, recevront un certificat de participation.

Chaque jours, il y a aura 2 sessions, une le matin qui sera répété l’après-midi. Ainsi les étudiants n’auront qu’à choisir, pour chacun de ses jours, de s’inscrire pour le matin ou l’aprés-midi.

Ladies! Welcome to the first edition of She Can Brew.
The Rules:

All the contestant will have the same coffee (KAVIARU Estate, Embu)
Each contestant will have to choose a brewing method, as they will serve to brew brew, one per judge.

Each contestant will have 10 minutes to extract 2 delicious brews for the 2 judges and a head judge, and explain the judges why they choose these methods for their extraction.

Open Cupping Session

What is Cupping?

Cupping is a way of tasting coffee to check if it is free from defect and to analyse its flavours.

On Saturday 17th of August, at Safari Lounge, we would like to welcome you to our cupping session, where you will discover great coffee from Kenya and Uganda, Natural, Washed, Honey and Carbonic Maceration processes.

Don’t worry if you do not know what are these processes, we will also run a small Introduction to Coffee to learn a bit more about coffee, and a home brewing session to brew these delicious coffee.

The farmers will be present to introduce their coffees, will have some samples of green coffee for potential buyers and some roasted coffee for sale.
