The Rules

10 contestants – 2 sensory judges per contestants – 1 moderator

  • Each contestants will have 10 min to prepare
    • 2 identical hot cocktails (1 per judge)
    • 2 identical cold cocktails (1 per judge)
      • Using the rum of your choice
      • Using the coffee of your choice
  • While they are preparing the drinks, contestants will have to present their coffee and their rum to the judges

HOW TO MAKE A DELICIOUS COFFEE LIQUEUR – part 1

So, you would like to make your own delicious coffee liqueur.

Part 1: Let us start!

75cl of low grade Vodka
33g of freshly roasted coffee – Light to medium roast (roasted less than 3 week, your favourite beans)
1 sterilised jar

Ground the coffee finely (coarser than for espresso but finer than V60)
Add the coffee in the jar, then add the vodka.
Mix well.
Place the jar in a dark and cool place for 3 weeks.
Meanwhile, mix the brew once a week during this time.
